What has been happening in sports more frequently than ever is that transgender women are able to compete against other women in some sports.
Not everyone agrees with this as men are biologically superior athletes in most cases.
Being born a man even though transitioning later in life into a woman these women still process many of the advantages of being born as a man, this includes higher testosterone levels and more muscle mass.
However not everyone agrees with that, Transgender woman Rachel Mckinnon who is a cycler and competes against women disagrees with this.
Rachel Mckinnon is the first trans woman to win track world title, some women who compete against here think she shouldn’t be allowed to do so.

“I don’t believe I am world champion because I am a trans woman, I put in the work and again we have to remember I lose most of my races. I have lost against the women that complain about me being unfair”
Not every sports organisation allows trans women to compete in women’s sport and Rachel believes that it is unfair to trans women.
“if you want to say I believe you are a woman for all of society except for this massive central park which is sports, then that’s not fair. So fairness is the inclusion of trans women.”
So what do you think, should trans women be able to compete against women in sports or is it unfair?
