Bodybuilder Joey Swoll is on a mission to change gym culture, he has been named the CEO of gym positivity.
Joey Swoll is no stranger to the spotlight and has been famous in the fitness scene for a long time.
He has a very impressive and muscular physique and now uses his huge social media platform to share gym positivity and eliminate toxic gym behavior.
In recent years we have seen many videos of people filming other gym-goers to make fun of them, belittle them or label them as perverts.
These kinds of videos have been posted online for likes and attention at the expense of innocent gym goers trying to better their lives.

Bodybuilder Joey Swoll has taken the task upon himself to respond to those gym bullies and come to the defense of innocent gym-goers and gym staff.
Recently a bodybuilder was training without his shirt on which is prohibited in most gyms and a gym staff member asks him to put his shirt back on.
The shirtless bodybuilder put his shirt back on without asking questions, this is the kind of behavior Joey Swoll was impressed by and answered to this young polite man that is a positive force in the gym.
I have been seeing more videos of kids in the gym with their shirts off, hitting sets, flexing, and posing only to have staff members come and say: “Hey put a shirt on it’s the rules of the gym”. Only for them to treat them with disrespect, rudeness, even calling them “Karens” and continuing to videotape only to post on social media. The rule of the gym is you have to wear a shirt, you are not special, you don’t get your own set of rules, I don’t care how many followers you have, how great your physique is, you have to do the same as everyone else and you have to treat staff with respect, this kid handles it perfectly. He gets asked to put his shirt on, he does so, he is kind about it, he is respectful, he doesn’t ask questions, boom its done. I get that you want to show off how good you look, go find a private gym, you can shoot content there without your shirt off all day long. But if you can’t follow the rules and you can’t respect the staff, stay home.
Legendary Bodybuilder Flex Wheeler also commented on the situation and here’s what he had to say:
The craziness these days. Even in my prime my friends had to fight me tooth and nail to take my shirt off. I hate it take pictures. I hate it shooting videos.
I was and still is so highly insecure about my physique
Crazy these days the kids to yank the shirts off at a drop of a hat, and haven’t really achieved anything in life yet.
Shaking my head
