Mike’s diet principle is training your body to eat on a high carb diet, otherwise, you are not going to last long in bodybuilding.

Mike O’Hearn Diet

Mike follows a diet that goes against the conventional way of doing things, he believes in a high carb diet and not cutting your carbs too much.

He has proved that this diet protocol works, as Mike has stayed massive and ripped for the past 40-years.

It’s not only the diet that Mike is an expert on, he also has incredible training knowledge that helps him workout effectively and injury-free.

Mike also sells complete meals in a package called Titan meals, where you can order the same meals Mike O’Hearn eats already cooked and ready to eat.

Mike O’Hearn diet:

  • Meal 1 : 12 ounces of steak and 1 and a half cup of rice
  • Meal 2 (post workout) : Protein shake (2 scoops whey protein powder, collagen, joint support supplement, one scoop of BCAAS, one scoop EEAS, three scoops of glutamine)
  • Meal 3 : 10 ounces of Salmon, and 1 and a half cup of rice
  • Meal 4 : 6 slices of bread, 6 whole eggs and a glass of orange juice
  • Meal 5 : 10 egg whites with fat cheese and a pound of fruit (grapes, strawberry and pineapple)
  • Meal 6: Protein shake (almond milk with 2 table spoons flax seeds, 2 table spoons wheat germs and two scoops of whey protein)

Mike O’Hearn explains why he can eat so many carbs:

The point I am trying to teach you right now is that we are enhancing our calorie intake, we are bringing carbohydrates back in, and we are teaching our body just like you do with weightlifting, we are teaching it that it has to utilize those calories, more calories. Not by exercise, all your experts keep going back: you got to exercise it off, you got to exercise it off. Teach your body to be 18 again, teach your body to utilize those calories, stop just going: I’m taking these calories in I am a little bloated, your body kinda goes like I’m bloated you are forcing this food on me, it’s just like walking around with heavyweight, holy shoes that’s heavy, yeah but the second time you do it, the third time you do it, it gets lighter, lighter and lighter until you squat that weight. it’s the same thing with your body, your body is a beautiful thing, stop letting these people tell you that you are this delicate little flower and you always got to be cutting those calories and cutting these calories as you get older. Trust me by the time you get 35 you 20-year-olds, and you are already cutting it, by the time you are 35 you are done. Don’t even try to get to this age and still be eating like this and training like this, I mean that’s just not realistic.
