Joey Swoll has been labeled the CEO of gym positivity in the last several months. Joey has been on a mission to change toxic gym behavior.
Joey Swoll believes everyone should feel welcome at the gym, everyone should respect one another, and that it should be a positive environment.
Unfortunately, this is not the reality of today’s gym culture; we have seen a lot of toxic gym behavior being filmed on social media and posted online for likes and attention.
Many people film others in the gym to embarrass them, make fun of them or humiliate them all for likes and attention.
Joey Swoll has taken matters into his own hands and now responds to many gym bullies posting these kinds of videos online.

Joey Swoll’s slogan is: “Mind your own business, be better than that.”
We can’t disagree with Joey as everyone should mind their own business unless they are trying to encourage or help someone that needs help.
Joey has been famous in the fitness industry for a long time and now uses his vast social media platforms to share the message.
Joey Swoll recently responded to a massive lifter flexing in the gym, and someone walked through his video.
The lifter and the gym goer exchange words, and Joey Swoll gives his take on this incident.

So you are upset you put your phone down on a walkway, on the floor in a crunched gym to take a photo and flex and someone walked by. Where do you want them to go? He is good foot or two in front of you, you want him to go behind you? Climb over some treadmills to go where he is going? and then you get mad that you confront him about the hand gestures you made, you basically tell him to go f himself, do you want him to be happy about that and go thanks man. This needs to stop, just because you want to take a video in the gym does not mean other people need to stop their day, stop their workout and bow down to you as if you own the gym. Kid you look great, I hope you learn a lesson from this, I hope you become a leader in fitness but you need to do better, you need to respect people and make sure the gym is a safe space for everyone. Mind your own business.
