Recently things have changed with Larry as he has quit using steroids and is now a natural lifter.
In a recent video, Larry discussed why he stopped using steroids, and here’s what he had to say:
For the last decade many of you know, I have been using PEDs, peptides, and all kinds of performance-enhancing drugs, and my first couple of years into fitness started when I was 14 onwards to 16 with a broomstick, cinder blocks, push-ups, calisthenics, riding my bike, being athletics. It wasn’t until I was actually 16 until I actually got to join a gym, and shortly after that, we are talking about a year, a year and a half, I started my first cycle, and I have been cycling ever since. Going completely off is not an option for me, I can not produce testosterone naturally so I am going to be on testosterone replacement therapy. I have tried post cycle therapy several times when I first began cycling and I was unable to recover. TRT for me would be as low as anywhere from 70 mg per week to as high as 175. 175 I believe being on the higher side of being a healthy natural male in his prime so I say I start at 175 and I get my blood done.
Larry also explained the benefits he experienced with using PEDs and wants to see what his body can achieve naturally without that extra assistance.
When I did cycle off my T levels would crash, the changes were night and day. I remember losing 30-40 lbs coming off cycle within a few weeks, I remember going from a 550 lbs bench to a 405 for 1 rep bench. We are talking about 20-30% drop in strength, 20-40 lbs drop in body weight. I did a few times so I have a rough idea what it’s like doing it that way but that was while using PCT.
Larry wants to see what he can do without the help of PEDS and is still going to train hard and try his best to achieve great results without using steroids.
