The 48-year old Greek weightlifter Kyriakos Grizzly has become famous for his insane strength and grueling workouts in the last few years.

The weightlifting superstar has amassed 170k subscribers on his YouTube channel, where he continues to share his intense workouts every week.

Kyriakos Grizzly was once on a weightlifting team and could lift some impressive numbers at a young age.

When Grizzly was 23-years old, he could bench press 250 kgs, squat 370 kgs, and deadlift 330 kgs.

Due to injuries, his weightlifting career came to a halt. However, having a passion for training, Kyriakos Grizzly adjusted his training methods to be still able to train heavily without damaging his injured muscles.

Now Kyriakos Grizzly relies on unconventional exercises to build up his massive physique and strength; right now, Kyriakos weighs around 190 kg (419 lbs) but has weighed about 210 kg (463-lbs).

The Greek lifter continues to train with intensity, and he trains three times per week in workouts that last for hours.

He revealed that he could train no more than that because he needed time to recover from his strenuous workouts.

In a recent clip Kyriakos Grizzly uploaded, we can see him pulling the rope, an exercise we have seen in the World’s Strongest Man competition.

Undoubtedly Kyriakos Grizzly could have competed in the World’s strongest man if he didn’t have all those injury problems in the past.

The massive lifter also shows that he can box, frequently sharing boxing training footage on his channel.

With all the setbacks Kyriakos Grizzly has faced in his weightlifting career, he hasn’t let that stop him from becoming a great lifter, and now at the age of 48-years old, he is getting the recognition he deserves for his hard work.
