Kyriakos Kapakoulak was better known in the lifting community as Kyriakos Grizzly is a 48-year old weightlifter from Greece.

Kyriakos started in weightlifting, but after suffering injuries, he had to adjust his workouts to train with the injuries he has had over the years.

Kyriakos has torn both his biceps and more injuries which prevent him from doing many exercises.

That’s why Kyriakos now uses unconventional exercises to keep building his strength.

Kyriakos is the best Zercher shrugger in the world, frequently posting videos of himself shrugging upwards to over 1000 lbs. (470 kg)

With his insane lifts, Kyriakos has become famous and has amassed over 130k subscribers on his Youtube channel, where he frequently posts videos from his training.

Even after having torn both his biceps, Kyriakos could bicep curl 140 kg’s for reps.

Kyriakos is one of the heaviest lifters in the world has recorded himself weighing over 200 kg (440 lbs)

The weigh scale simply said “full” because he exceeded that maximum weight on the scale.

When Kyriakos Grizzly was asked in the comments why he trains, his answer was simply “For the difficult.”

His most famous quote is “You Have To Live It,” and there is no doubt that Kyriakos is living it every week.

Because of his intense workout session that can last for 4 hours, Kyriakos only trains three times per week to recover from his grueling workout session.

Even though he is heavy, he still has excellent mobility and stamina, often posting videos from boxing.

In a recent video, Kyriakos emphasized his strength by using 463-lbs of plates he holds in his hands to train his abs.
