Joey Swoll is known as the CEO of gym positivity; Joey is on a mission to change toxic gym behavior and make the gym a safe place for everybody.
Recently, we have seen many videos of people filming others in the gym to make fun of them or belittle them; we have also seen videos of people recording themselves in a public gym and getting mad when someone goes into their camera view.
Joey, a famous bodybuilder and influencer is trying to make the gym friendly for everyone.
What Joey does is that he responds to gym bullies that post videos of innocent gym goers online to shame them or belittle them for likes and attention.
Joey has already responded to many videos where gym bullies make fun of others.

Many of the gym bullies who posted these videos have apologized and realized they were in the wrong for filming others in the gym and posting the footage online.
While others are buried in shame and have deleted their social media accounts because of the negative backlash these videos have brought them after Joey Swoll responded to them.
Recently a woman was filming herself working out, doing an exercise with ropes called battle ropes.
In the footage recorded in a public gym, we can see two lifters who walk in her camera view, and the woman gets mad and confronts them.
Then the woman shames them online by posting this clip on the internet.

Joey Swoll did not find anything wrong with what they guys did as this is a public gym, and he responded to the woman.
Here’s what Joey had to say:
Guys if you want to film in public gyms, you have to realize you are not the priority, the person that is working out they come first. You have to show them courtesy, you have to be respectful to them, if someone happens to walk through your video that’s ok. If somebody is directly behind you in a video don’t be afraid to ask them : “Hey do you mind if I record here or take a video here”. If they say I don mind or they don’t want to be in it they have every right to say that. These two young men, one didn’t even walk through your video he actually walked around while the other one waited in the back, they were trying to be respectful to you, I understand you got upset, you are a beautiful fit young woman, you can hit another set, set your camera up wait for them to pass or let them pass then hit another set but be kind and respectful to people, be better than that.
