Bodybuilder Joey Swoll is on a mission to change gym behavior, in recent years we have seen an increase in toxic behavior among gym-goers.
Some people in the gym film others to make fun of them, belittle them or embarrass them.
Nowadays everyone has a camera on them everywhere they go, and as a result of that, we are seeing more videos posted online where people film others in the gym and post the videos on social media for likes and attention.
This practice can have severe consequences for innocent gym goers that are filmed and labeled as perverts, creeps, or idiots in the gym.
Joey Swoll is here to stop this behavior and encourages others to mind their own business rather than filming others in the gym to make fun of them.

Joey has already responded to many of these videos where he explains to the gym bullies why this behavior is unacceptable.
On top of all that there are many people who feel intimidated to go to public gyms because they are afraid they will be filmed by others and made fun of.
Recently a lifter posted footage of himself flexing in the mirror in the locker room where the sink was.
An innocent gymgoer gets into the camera view to watch his hands and the lifter was mad and posted the footage on social media.
Joey Swoll responded to this entitled lifter and here’s what he had to say:

So your caption says what do you do in this situation, I can’t really answer that because I don’t think I would put my phone down in front of the sink where people wash their hands after using the restroom to take a selfie or video. Especially when your buddy is doing the exact same thing next to you at the other sink. I can tell you what I wouldn’t do though, I wouldn’t post this video on social media for likes and attention to get people to attack or shame this man as if he did something wrong and I definitely wouldn’t label this as my biggest pet peeve in the gym. I know you guys like to take selfies and videos in the bathroom it’s got the best lightning the best mirrors, I get that. But be respectful of others, you are not a priority, this man is in the right, you should have apologized, let him go about his day, and then taking your video. You have a great physique young man, you want to be an inspiration in fitness that’s fine, but do better, be better mind your own business.
