Bodybuilder Joey Swoll is on a mission to change toxic gym behavior; he is the CEO of gym positivity.
Joey believes the gym should be a safe place and an encouraging place for everyone.
Nowadays, many people are afraid to train in gyms because of toxic gym behavior. Joey is on a mission to change this. He has used his powerful social media platform to make a positive impact and defend innocent gym-goers.
Many people film themselves and others in a public gym; many of these videos are posted to the internet, where innocent gym-goers are belittled, made fun of, or labeled as creeps or perverts.
Many innocent gym goers fall victim to this every day, and these videos could ruin the reputation of many innocent people working out in the gym.

Bodybuilder Joey Swoll has responded to many of these videos where he comes to the defense of innocent gym goers doing nothing wrong.
Joey responded recently to a video of a woman filming herself squatting in the gym; an innocent man walks into her camera view.
The woman posts the video online for likes and attention. The man who did nothing wrong was labeled as “sexist”, and she said he disregarded women.
Joey Swoll was not amused by this video and replied to the woman:
If you are going to film at the gym which is a public space and set your camera up where there is a walkway there is a good chance someone might walk by. That’s no reason to get upset, that’s definitely not a reason to label someone as sexist or disregarding women. This man looked down saw the camera, then looked at you saw what you were doing and he kept walking by. I don’t think someone who is sexist would take the time to go back and apologize like he did, which he did and didn’t need to do. You could have set up your camera and hit another set and be fine but instead you posted this, you need to do better, you need to realize what this can do to somebody and their reputation in that gym and community. Mind your own business.
