He unexpectedly lost in 2008 against Dexter Jackson when everyone thought Jay was going to win it.
With an incredible mindset, Jay Cutler was able to reclaim the Olympia title yet again in 2009 and also in 2010.
In 2011 Phil Heath came in with an incredible physique and won the title from Jay Cutler.
Jay Competed for the last time in 2013 where he got 6th place and retired after that competition.
What is interesting about Jay’s competitive career is that he has had some of the toughest opponents ever in bodybuilding. He lost to Ronnie Coleman and Phil Heath who have combined won the title 15 times.

Since retiring from bodybuilding Jay Cutler launched a supplement brand called Cutler Nutrition where he sells a variety of different supplements.
Even though it’s been 8 years since we last saw Jay competing at a bodybuilding show he is still muscular in great shape.
Jay has obviously downsized a bit since he was a competitive bodybuilder but his physique today is still very impressive for a 48-year old.
Now Jay spends his day working on the supplement brand and he still trains in the gym.
Even though Jay has retired he continues to inspire and be a good role model.
