The boxing match we’ve all been waiting for took place last night when Hafthor Bjornsson took on Devon Larratt in the boxing ring.
Originally Hafthor was supposed to fight Eddie Hall, but Eddie Hall injured himself, and Devon Laratt was found as a replacement fighter.
Devon Larratt had just over one month to prepare himself for the fight, he doesn’t have a boxing background, and he is 47-years old.
Hafthor has been training boxing for over a year; in that time frame, Hafthor has lost weight and turned himself into a real boxer.

First of all, Devon Larratt is close to 50-years old, while Hafthor is still in his prime at 32-years old.
Hafthor has had over a year where he has just trained boxing and turned himself into a decent boxer in that time.
While Devon Larratt didn’t have any real-time preparation for that fight, he was very courageous to step into the ring with Thor and take the fight.
So the outcome isn’t shocking.
