Fact Checked

Hafthor Bjornsson just announced on his instagram account that he got tested positive for covid.

It seems like he isn’t feeling too good at all when you look at his statement:

Hafthor Bjornsson Covid Update

A little update for you guys. So Saturday I started to feel ill and decided to get tested again even though I just got tested on the 19th (Tuesday) and that test came back negative. The test I did on Saturday the 23th came back positive and I’ve been laying in bed since.

The next two weeks will be isolation for me. This is no joke. Stay safe people! I don’t wish this on anyone. Hopefully, the world will be in a better place soon

Thor will have to take two weeks in isolation and probably cannot train for the next two weeks for the boxing match which he has set up with Eddie Hall in September.

It seems like Hafthor isn’t feeling to bad as he is now spending his time playing video games on his twitch channel and live streaming the whole thing.

He has said on stream:

Take The Quiz

“I’m feeling better, I felt like shit yesterday and this morning, I feel a lot better now. Maybe my body just fought off the virus in two days. Now I can just stream and do whatever I want, the annoying part is that I have to stay inside. I have a sore throat right now that’s the only thing I feel right now. This morning I had a headache, muscle soreness, and everything,”

Hafthor has been travelling and training for the last couple of months.

He just had a exhibition boxing match with Steven Ward in Dubai a week ago.

Which was a part of his training before the big fight with Eddie Hall in September.

Hafthor and Eddie have both retired from strongman to prepare themselves for this boxing match.

So it might not be that surprising that he got covid if he is travelling and coming in contact with a lot of people.

In the meantime Hafthor gets 2 weeks off from the gym while he is recovering.

Hafthor Bjornsson gaming

A few months ago Hafthor started live streaming video games on his Twitch channel which currently has over 185 thousand subscribers.

He has played Counter Strike, Call of Duty Warzone and league of legends on his channel.

Thor often shares what he’s doing and what is plans are on his twitch channel.

He calls himself the world’s strongest gamer and I think nobody can take that title away from him.

Despite being a very busy man Hafthor likes to play games and he sometimes plays with his fans.

Currently while writing this article Hafthor is in his bath rope live streaming league of legends on his twitch channel.

You can watch him at his Twitch channel: https://www.twitch.tv/hafthorjulius

It seems like he is feeling a bit better, and we hope he heals quickly from this disgusting covid 19.
