I thought we had seen it all in the gym, but apparently, we have not; Greg Doucette showed disturbing footage of a ruthless “gym attack.”
A man was doing dumbbell presses in the gym, minding his own business, when another gym-goer pretends to fall and drops a 45-lbs plate on his head with great force.
The gym’s cameras show this incident clearly, and we can see that this was no accident; the man planned this attack and did it on purpose.
The reason for this attack is unknown; however, Greg Doucette says that the two men involved had no beef with each other.
The attacker was sentenced to 19-months in jail, and thankfully the victim didn’t die.

Greg Doucette believes that this is attempted murder, and he could have easily killed him with this attack.
We can all agree that the gym should be a safe space for everyone without someone attacking another gym goer.
We have to deal with injuries from lifting weights; we cannot add injuries from attacks in the gym.
The gym should be a positive place where everyone is encouraging.
Greg said that the attacker might have been jealous:

There was an investigation and there was no beef between these guys, there was no motive per se. But how do we know? We don’t know one person could have been jealous, he could have been jealous: Oh he is pressing more weight than me, I´ll take care of that or I saw him eying up my girlfriend the other day. We do not know what one man may be thinking
The shocking footage of the incident has surfaced on the internet, and Greg Doucette has watched the footage a few times and believes there is no way that this was an accident.
