IFBB Pro Bodybuilder Greg Doucette isn’t afraid of discussing what is on his mind.
I a recent video Greg published on his YouTube channel, he talks about a recent occurrence at a bodybuilding show where an overweight out-of-shape bodybuilder participated in NPC National Championships.
Many people have complained that it is disrespectful for an overweight guy to compete at a bodybuilding show when other bodybuilders competing have put the work in and dieted for weeks.
Greg Doucette disagrees and believes that it’s fat-shaming if the overweight bodybuilder wouldn’t be able to compete.
Who gives a shit? how does that affect you, he gets up on stage obese, morbidly obese whatever, how does that affect you?. If I am in a competition and I dieted for 16-weeks and I’m 4% body fat and a guy next to me is 50 lbs overweight, I could care less. But again people want to complain, to me, that is actual fat-shaming, healthy at every size you know I am against people saying that but let the fricking overweight guy compete, who fricking cares?
The overweight bodybuilder caught headlines for his out-of-shape physique at a pretty good bodybuilding show NPC National Championships which is the biggest amateur bodybuilding competition.

The obese bodybuilder qualified to compete at the NPC National Championships, and that’s why he can compete.
He probably knew he wouldn’t do well with his physique but decided to compete anyway because he qualified.
