As you probably know by now strongmen Eddie Hall and Hafthor Bjornsson are having a boxing match in Las Vegas , September 2021.
These two athletes have both retired from strongman to focus on training for this boxing match and there have been bad vibes between them since the 2017 world strongest man.
Hafthor said he was robbed of the title because he didn’t get one of his reps counted in the Viking press event because he “double-dipped” which is against the rules.
Hafthor completed 14 legit reps in the Viking Press but Eddie Hall got 15 reps, Hafthor was mad that one of his reps didn’t count which would have made him tied with Eddie Hall for that event.
The most shocking part was the outrage Hafthor had with Colin Bryce head referee after this event, I don’t even want to write what he says because it’s just too shocking to say, So I’ll share the video where he argues with the head referee.

Hafthor Bjornsson has never acknowledged the fact that Eddie may have won the title fairly and even made posts about being robbed on his social media. He even called Eddie Hall “a cheat”.
This took the spotlight from Eddie Hall who worked hard for the title in 2017 and he has never forgiven Hafthor for acting this way in World Strongest man 2017.
That’s probably the reason for this fight, it’s the fact that Eddie Hall wants to take revenge on Hafthor and of course they both make a lot of money in the process.
Eddie Hall and Hafthor Bjornsson have been talking smack with each other ever since this 2017 world’s strongest man and Eddie Hall even said that Hafthor’s 501 kg’ deadlift world record wasn’t legit because he didn’t do it in a competition.

Of course he is referring to the fight he is having with Eddie Hall in September 2021.
I think it’s safe to say the many people look forward seeing this fight, both men have a long time to prepare themselves for this fight and get in shape.
Even though Hafthor is a taller than Eddie Hall and has more reach, Eddie Hall is still very tall and has backround in boxing which could be a game changer.
