This weekend, the long-awaited boxing match between two former World’s Strongest Men, Hafthor Bjornsson and Eddie Hall, was finally completed.
Two years ago, the fight was announced and was supposed to take place in September 2021; however, because Eddie Hall injured his bicep, the fight had to be pushed back to 19th March.
In the last two years, we have witnessed a lot of drama between Hafthor and Eddie; the feud between the strongmen started back in 2017 when Thor accused Eddie Hall of cheating his way to the Word’s Strongest Man title.
The boxing match went all six rounds, and it was up to the judges to decide the winner, with Thor having the better of Eddie Hall in the fight.
Before the fight, Eddie Hall had made a bet with powerlifter Larry Wheels on who would win the fight.

Eddie Hall bet $10,000 on himself while Larry believed Thor would win.
Now the results are in, and Thor won the fight, and if Eddie is going to stay true to his word, he will have to pay Larry a hefty sum of $10,000.
In the buildup for the fight, Eddie was very confident and said, “I am 100% certain I will win”.
While Thor was able to hone his boxing skills under his coach Billy Nelson, Thor surprised Eddie and the crowd with his boxing skills.
While Thor used a rather conventional boxing stance, Eddie used an unconventional tactic in the fight and relied on big shots from his right hand to hopefully knock out Thor.

While Eddie’s strategy was effective in the first couple of rounds and managed to rattle Thor with power punches, in the remaining rounds of the fight, Thor could read Eddie Hall and Eddie wasn’t able to land his power punches as effectively.
Both men have talked about a rematch that might happen, and it would be an excellent opportunity for Eddie to change his game plan to win Thor.
The fight is over, and Larry Wheels made a video addressing that Eddie Hall owes him $10,000 because of a bet they made on who would win the fight.
