Eddie Hall and Hafhtor Bjornosson are having a boxing match in september which will be held in Las Vegas.
Both of them have retired from strongman to prepare for the fight.
They have been insulting each other on social media for a long time now and the beef between them started back in 2017 when Eddie Hall won the world’s strongest man title.
Hafthor Bjornosson accused him of cheating and said he was robbed of the title.
Since then there has been bad blood between the two, and they are going to settle it in the boxing ring next september.

What is interesting to see is both have a very different approach for preparing for the fight.
Eddie Hall hasn’t been doing any sparring for the fight as his trainer with 30-years of experience believes he first has to learn the fundamentals of boxing before actually sparring.
While Hafthor Bjornsson frequently spars and he even did a exhibition boxing match against Steven Ward in Dubai.
Hafthor has even called out Eddie Hall for not doing any sparring or exhibition matches and said he is going to knock him out easily if he doesn’t change his training and starts sparring.
Eddie Hall responded to this in his most recent video and here’s what he said:

Eddie Hall Roasting Hafthor Bjornsson:
All these idiots saying you should be sparring now, Thor is miles in front, let me say this: I talked to someone about Thor’s fight the other day and I watched it. Of course, I watched it I would be an idiot not to watch it.
I am going to tell you what the funniest thing was, all the commentators all the way through gobbled him off, told him how good he was, how good his footwork was, how good his defenses, his attack, his whatever, his fitness, his everything.
Do you want god’s honest truth?
He didn’t land a single F’in punch in three rounds, so anyone with any boxing tenacity about him will know that was the biggest load of crap that has ever happened in boxing.
Why go into a sparring match when you don’t know how to box and no one can say he can because he didn’t land a punch.
I want to say a big thank you to Thor for doing that match and putting it out on the internet because it’s literally going to give me the best advantage I’ve ever had.
I can see Thor’s flaws six-seven months out from the fight and that’s what we are going to be working on and he ain’t going to improve that much in seven months,
So thanks Thor, I appreciate the heads up, I appreciate the massive advantage you gave me because I’m telling you now sunshine I will not give you the same privilege.
