We’ve been waiting almost two years for the heaviest boxing fight in history.
Two former World’s Strongest Man champions, Eddie Hall (34) and Hafthor Bjornsson (33) are about to get in the ring next Saturday on the 19th of March.
Apparently, Hafthor Bjornsson was very unhappy at losing against Eddie Hall in 2017 and did not congratulate him on the win.
This was devastating for Eddie Hall and he has hated him ever since.
Finally, they both agreed to settle their differences in the ring.

Build-up for the fight
The build-up for the fight has been getting more and more intense in the past week, and even very childish at times.
With the grown men calling each other bad names such as “fat pig” and “anorexic dog” in a pre-match interview.
Most recently Eddie Hall showed up at Hafthor’s training camp in Dubai and spit at him, and Hafthor has admitted that he did spit back at him.
That altercation got even more intense and Eddie Hall wanted Hafthor to fight him right there on the streets.

Footage from 2020 has been going viral now on Reddit leading up to the much-anticipated boxing fight.
Eddie Hall did a podcast interview with Mark Bell’s Power Project in 2020.
Where they discuss all kinds of strongman things as well as fun stories from their everyday life.
But the reason it’s been going viral now two years later is the shocking statement made by Eddie Hall.
“I managed to catch this little f**ker up an alleyway… and I’m finally going to be able to admit this now to your mum, I beat the f**k out of you, and you f**king deserved it. So, I beat the f**k out of this little kid just to put a statement out, if anyone comes near my house they’ll get f**ked up”

Eddie Hall must have been about 200 kg at that point in time, admitting to beating up a little kid, seems strange to me.
