A few days ago we told you about Mindi Jensen, the teacher whose (most definitely not nude) bikini Instagram pictures were slammed as ‘pornographic’ by parents that decided she wasn’t allowed to have a private life.
The body-building mum of four was told to either take down her account or make it private after the school received complaints. Initially she agreed to the latter option, but quickly changed her mind, telling teaching officials that women had contacted her to say they found the images inspirational. Implementing privacy settings would make it harder for people like them to find her.
Why am I taking this picture off, I get comments and messages that its inspirational to them and these women like my story. If I put it to private, it’s not going to reach these people that might need and understand me.She said
We get that parents don’t want their kids looking at teacher porn. That’s reasonable, but Mindi’s Instagram is hardly x-rated material. She’s just working out, and if other people are being inspired by it then she has every right to keep it up. Fight the power.
