36-year old Brad Castleberry is well known in the fitness community for his insane weightlifting videos were he lifts record breaking weights on a regular basis.
However not everyone believes that Brad is using real weights in his videos, he is often times called “The king of fake weights”

There is no doubt that Brad is very strong and has an impressive physique but still not everyone thinks he is honest about his records.
In fact Brad would be a powerlifting champion in his weight class if he lifted the same amount of weight he does in some of his videos.
What is strange about that is that even though he claims to have all these records he has never proved them in an official powerlifting contest.

That makes people wonder if he is using fake weights in his videos.

However there are some suspicious videos on Brad’s channel some of them are definitely real weights.
Just recently Brad Castleberry managed to curl 225 lbs on a straight bar for 20 reps.
Even though the reps weren’t strict curl reps this is still a very impressive achievement and not many guys in can do this.
It will be interesting to see if Brad Castleberry proves some of his records in a powerlifting contest anytime in the future.
