This post will go over tips on being the most likable lifter in your gym.

It isn’t complicated, but sooner than later, you will be liked by most people in your gym that will love seeing you every time.

On top of that, you will look less impressive, making the fat beginner feel like he is not in that bad a shape.

Smile and greet everyone

A smile goes a long way, especially when it’s followed up with good morning.

A positive attitude towards others will make them like you, and you will be well respected and liked in your gym.

A small gesture like that goes a long way.

Rerack your weights

After you just deadlifted 500 pounds for reps and your lower back is screaming in pain, you must rerack the weights.

Even though you don’t feel like doing it, you have to rerack the damn weights.

When you rerack the weights, you will gain respect from others, and it will show that you aren’t a selfish lifter that only thinks about yourself.

When you see someone weak don’t mog them by lifting way heavier

If you see someone benching one plate in the bench press and you usually bench three plates, try not to mog them with your mind-blowing strength.

You may want to assert your dominance by lifting way heavier, but if you’re going to be liked by everyone, that’s not the approach.

If you sweat a lot during your workouts, a great way to show respect to others is to wipe the machines after use.

If you leave the equipment soaked in sweat after use, people will not like you.
