Pros
Cons

  • Contains a few proven ingredients
  • Has ingredients good for a pre-workout
  • Missing too many ingredients to boost testosterone
  • The formula misses the mark it’s more of a pre-workout/fat-burner than a testosterone booster
  • Majority of ingredients do nothing for testosterone

In this Testosterone Up Red with nitric oxide review, we analyzed this product and found out how effective it is.

The main goal of every testosterone booster is to make sure customers can feel manlier than the manliest man on the planet, and this is supposed to happen due to really high levels of circulating testosterone.

After all, testosterone is a man’s hormone, so naturally the more you have this circulating in your bloodstream, the better. But, testosterone boosters nowadays offer a lot of ways to feel manly even if your testosterone levels aren’t that high. This is exactly what the folks behind Testosterone UP RED with nitric oxide wants you to know.

Because getting your testosterone levels to a manly level takes some time and dedication, but feeling manly is something you can get faster. To capitalize on this, Testosterone UP RED included a lot of ingredients that may not directly benefit testosterone per se, but should still achieve the sought after manly feeling effect.

Can Testosterone UP RED’s take on testosterone boosters be enough to get it past some of the industry’s best products?

Read our Testosterone UP RED review to find out.

About Testosterone UP RED

Testosterone UP RED is described as a product that can provide a testosterone boost. More than that, it is also designed to help enhance male vitality and performance by boosting testosterone levels already within the normal range, and supporting nitric oxide to enhance male physical response during any physical activity.

They also mention that the key ingredients at the center of this amazing product are LJ100 Longjack and L-Citrulline. One is an actual testosterone booster, the other is more of a nitric oxide enhancer with some erection benefits.

Here are some of the other stuff we noticed:

  • Eleven key ingredients: That’s a lot of ingredients for a testosterone booster. In our experience writing reviews, many high quality testosterone boosters prefer a more focused approach, using not more than five or seven at most.
  • Formula transparency: The fact that we get to see how much of anything it is we’re taking is always a big plus in any supplement.
  • High potency ingredients: We see a lot of standardized extracts and branded ingredients which makes us really excited to see how good Testosterone UP RED is overall.

Here are the notable ingredients in Testosterone UP RED:

  • Medium Chain Triglycerides: MCT oils are more of a fat burner ingredient than something you take for testosterone. You see, MCTs are easily broken down by the body and converted to energy. They also support the ketogenic diet because MCT oils help the body produce more ketones. All is well and good, but this ingredient has nothing to do with testosterone. So, this is actually a bad start, given that it has the highest dose in the formula.
  • Citrulline: This is mainly a nitric oxide booster which helps users feel pumped. This pump feeling is beneficial for heavy lifts and other exercises that require quick and explosive strength. In a testosterone supplement, citrulline helps with erection problems.
  • Fenugreek: Fenugreek is a really popular male ingredient. It’s found in virtually all major testosterone brands. It’s not really great for testosterone, but it does help with physical performance as well as libido.
  • Tribulus extract: It’s not a great testosterone booster like fenugreek, but it’s known to help with performance and, once again, boosts libido.
  • Beta Sitosterols: This is really not that good for testosterone. It’s supposed to help boost testosterone by blocking enzymes that convert testosterone to something else, but some of these enzymes are also necessary for muscle performance. So basically, you will end up with higher testosterone, but you could end up feeling weaker during exercise.
  • Ginkgo extract (24% flavone of glycosides, 6% terpene lactones): This is more of a nootropic – a brain supplement. As a nootropic, ginkgo is really helpful for memory enhancement and can be used to aid students when reviewing for a test. As part of a testosterone formula, some studies do report positive results for testosterone. The problem is, the tests were done on rats.

“Ginkgo biloba extract enhances testosterone synthesis and secretion of Leydig cells by reducing the impairment of the testis in type 2 diabetic rats.”

  • Beet powder: Same with citrulline in that it’s meant to boost nitric oxide content in the blood, thus improving blood circulation which can lead to stronger erections.
  • LJ100 Tongkat Ali (eurycoma longifolia) extract (40% glycosaponins and 22% eurypeptides) (roots): This is a legit testosterone booster and in a high quality branded form. Tongkat Ali is that one testosterone ingredient that can directly enhance testosterone content in various ways. Because of what it can do for testosterone, tongkat ali is deemed as a basic, yet necessary ingredient in many testosterone formulas.
  • Cayenne powder (30,000 HU) (fruit): This is a fat burner and is meant to produce energy by burning stored fat. This process is known as thermogenesis, and as the name implies, the end product is heat. This explains why you feel hot and become sweaty when you eat peppers.
  • Asian Ginseng Extract (4% ginsenosides) (root): This helps reduce compounds that can lower testosterone content as well as help boost energy levels and even mental performance. More than that, ginseng is also taken as an adaptogen – ingredients meant to reduce stress. This is important because stress can mean your body is overproducing cortisol. Cortisol is the antithesis to testosterone. Lowering stress can therefore lead to higher testosterone levels.

“This finding would seem to support the notion that the observed testosterone reductions following certain forms of physical exercise could be related to cortisol elevations in response to that exercise.”

  • BioPerine Complex – BioPerine Black Pepper extract, Ginger extract (5% gingerols): This complex is amazing mainly because they used BioPerine, the best brand of black pepper extract. Plenty of studies confirm the bioavailability benefits of taking black pepper with other ingredients in just about any formula or supplement.

“Piperine was found to increase bioavailability of different drugs ranging from 30% to 200%. Subsequent research has shown that it increases curcumin bioavailability by almost ten-fold.”

More than just black pepper, this blend also offers ginger which has some fat burning benefits. Not sure how good the thermo benefit would be, but we’re just happy to see BioPerine amidst a blend of misplaced ingredients.

Testosterone UP RED: formula analysis

For our Testosterone UP RED review, we’re actually a bit confused as to how Testosterone UP RED is supposed to be. It has a lot of ingredients, but only a handful of them are useful for actual testosterone boosting.

The notable testosterone boosters are Tongkat Ali, ginseng, and to a certain extent, Tribulus and fenugreek. We also have some erection helpers in the form of citrulline and beet powder.

However, the problem is they’re not the main focus of the formula. The focus instead went to the performance enhancers and fat burners – two things that shouldn’t be prioritized in a testosterone booster.

Like, it’s in the name: Testosterone booster. If we wanted a thermo-focused blend, we’d have chosen a fat burner. If we wanted a blend that can help with gym time, a pre-workout would suffice.

Unless of course, Testosterone UP RED wanted to be a multi-functioning testosterone booster. This could have worked provided they actually didn’t neglect the testosterone boosting part. Because at its current state, Testosterone UP RED is more a pre workout – fat burner hybrid with some testosterone benefits.

So, does Testosterone UP RED work?

We think Testosterone UP RED does work for testosterone, but the way they built the formula means the testosterone benefits take a backseat to its fat burning and performance benefits.

Does Testosterone UP RED have a lot of caffeine?

Testosterone UP RED does not have stimulants of any kind, but it could help you feel energized due to the number of fat burners and strength enhancers in the blend.

So, is Testosterone UP RED any good or just hype?

Based on our Testosterone UP RED review, this product is pretty much hype. The formula doesn’t put testosterone at the center and prefers to highlight non-testosterone ingredients – which is weird for a testosterone booster.

Benefits for muscle

The funny thing about Testosterone UP RED is it actually benefits the muscles more than it benefits testosterone. The ingredients it contains are more for exercise than they are for testosterone, so you can actually use Testosterone UP RED as part of your pre-workout.

Who is Testosterone UP RED made for?

Testosterone UP RED seems to have been made for users who want a testosterone booster with pre workout ingredients. The ingredients it has and the focus of the formula definitely aims at this kind of market.

Side effects

We have good reason to believe that Testosterone UP RED shouldn’t have any negative or harmful side effects associated with their formula. Most of the ingredients are in their premium forms. The only possible side effect could be if you’re allergic to soy and tree nuts, two things the product contains.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • High quality: Plenty of concentrated herbs and ingredients in one formula. Always a good thing regardless of dosage or category.
  • Helps with exercise: Testosterone UP RED can definitely support your workout efforts.
  • Great use of BioPerine: The BioPerine blend acts as both fat burner and absorption booster.
  • Erection and libido: Hey, that’s why we take testosterone boosters, right?

Cons

  • Lacks testosterone: The formula doesn’t focus on testosterone as much as it does on exercise and fat burning.
  • Not cheap: That’s almost $50 a bottle, and testosterone boosters are meant to be taken every day.

Pricing info

  • 1 bottle (30 servings): $49.98
  • Available online and in retail stores

Summary

Based on our Testosterone UP RED review, the product overall is not actually something you would call a testosterone booster. No, Testosterone UP RED is more like a mild pre workout and fat burner hybrid with some testosterone boosting on the side.

We do like how it makes use of premium ingredients as well as decent dosages that should also give synergy, but we want testosterone. Synergy or not, Testosterone UP RED is just not a good testosterone booster. The name implies you can improve testosterone levels, but it seems to do it in a really insignificant manner compared to its fat burning and exercise benefits.

Then, we also have the price. We’ve covered other testosterone boosters before and while most of them are much more expensive, they’re probably much better than Testosterone UP RED.

So overall, we think Testosterone UP RED should only be your option if you have nothing else to choose from.
