It looks like a standard off the shelf nutritional product—this RPN Havoc review illustrates this supplement isn’t as innocent as it first appears.
The rise of so-called “designer steroids” has clouded the waters between prohibited synthetics and natural supplements. Seemingly reputable retailers have been blatantly touting these products with no concern about reprisals. It’s tough to know what’s legal and what’s not.
Havoc is potentially dangerous; see the best legal and safe muscle building supplements in our article here.
You know where I’m coming from, yeah?
These products can be highly beneficial tools in the bodybuilder’s armory—vastly elevating gains beyond what normal training and diet alone can provide. Yet, they could also completely screw your body up.
This RPN Havoc review is a no-holds-barred exposé of this supplement. Do you want to know why it’s causing massive shockwaves through the bodybuilding industry? Then let’s get started.
RPN Havoc Review
Before I get down to the in-depth detail in this RPN Havoc review, I need to clear up some common confusion.
This supplement is usually described online as a pro hormone—scientifically speaking, a drug containing compounds which convert to anabolic hormones within the body.1
Yet, over recent years, the term “prohormone” has been increasingly used to include the so-called designer steroids. That is, synthetics which have been purposely made for the bodybuilding market and to circumvent existing drug laws.
Hence, not a clone of a prescription-only therapeutic drug.2
RPN Havoc falls into the latter category. In real terms, this drug is 100 percent an AAS (anabolic androgenic steroid)—despite what the guys down the gym will tell you.
It’s a branded version of the steroid methylepitiostanol (often retailed under other names such as Epi, Epi Plex, and Epistane). 3
Methylepitiostanol is a manipulated version of epitiostanol—an anti-breast cancer drug widely used in Japan. As such, over-the-counter sales would be illegal unless under a health practitioners direction.4
So, to avoid the illegal issues, underground scientists altered its structure—essentially adding a methyl group in the 17th carbon position. This allows it to be taken orally.5
More importantly, this change meant that it wasn’t covered under the Anabolic Steroids Control Act of 1990—hence, a legal designer steroid.6
RPN Havoc is manufactured by Recomp Performance Nutrition—a company which used to have a hefty online presence but now has no official website.
As you can see by the bottle design—it appears similar to many legal supplements. It lacks the clinical appearance of most steroid bottles or vials.
So, is it still legal?
Back when the FDA (US Food and Drug Administration) and the US Government were lagging behind the development of these designer steroids—it wasn’t prohibited.
However, since the introduction of the 2014 Designer Anabolic Steroid Control Act—it’s illegal (where it’s listed as 2a3a – epithio -17a – methyl – 5a – androstan – 17b -Ol).7
As a steroid—its sole aim is to place the body into a prime state of anabolism to promote impressive mass gains.
How Does RPN Havoc Work?
Time for some serious investigation in this RPN Havoc review—how does it function?
This supplement possesses the typical features of most anabolic steroids, in that it will:
- Promote muscle protein synthesis.8
- Boost erythropoiesis (red blood cell production).9
- Heighten nitrogen retention.10
All the above are promoters of anabolism, meaning that the work you put in at the gym reaps greater rewards than without.
However, the androgenic power of this supplement isn’t that high. We’re not talking monster-like muscle mass or strength gains here. If anything, guys seem to compare the returns made with RPN Havoc to the “steady” muscle progression of Anavar.
Hence, this has led many juicers to use this product as a cutting aid to preserve lean tissue mass, rather than to bulk up.
One particularly positive aspect of RPN Havoc is its anti-estrogenic effects (since it’s derived from a breast cancer drug).
This can help to promote fat loss, or offset the “female” traits that other steroids can induce, such as man-boobs and water retention.
RPN Havoc Ingredients
If you needed any more proof in this RPN Havoc review that this is nothing more than an anabolic steroid, here it is.
This product has just one ingredient (barring the capsule constituents of gelatin and cellulose).
As mentioned earlier, 2a3a – epithio -17a – methyl – 5a – androstan – 17b -Ol is the chemical formula of the synthetic methylepitiostanol—in this “supplement”, at a 10 mg dose.
This compound binds to the androgen receptors within the body, promoting protein synthesis, elevating red blood cell count, and increasing nitrogen retention.
And if you recall from earlier in this RPN Havoc review—this single ingredient is illegal.
RPN Havoc Side Effects
If you’ve been in the bodybuilding game for a while, it’s gonna come as no surprise in this RPN Havoc review that this supplement, like most steroids, affects the liver.
This is often the price to pay when using synthetics—and care has to be taken to ensure the dose doesn’t inflict too much damage.
However, RPN Havoc, specifically its methylepitiostanol ingredient, is shockingly dangerous.
A 2016 study indicated that this compound has the effect of causing:
- Hepatocellular hepatitis.11
- Cholestatic hepatitis.
- Hepatocellular carcinoma (liver cancer).
- Peliosis hepatitis (blood-filled cavities appearing in the liver).
- Hepatocellular adenoma (liver tumors).
- Focal nodular hyperplasia (benign liver tumors).
Bro, it doesn’t end there.
In 2018 scientists concluded that there were “severe risks” with using steroids such as methylepitiostanol.12
They indicated that this drug promoted severe hypogonadism—that is, it wrecks your balls. Testosterone production was rapidly depleted to 87 ng/dl—the average for guys being 679 ng/dl.
And, if destroying your liver and messing up your crown jewels isn’t enough, as an anabolic steroid this supplement can also induce:
- Acne.13
- Balding.
- Abscesses
- Depression.
- Aggression.
- Mania
In short, after using RPN Havoc, you may be sporting an awesome dry and defined physique. But your balls have shrunk to the size of peanuts and your liver is completely screwed.
RPN Havoc Cycle
As you saw in the RPN Havoc review of the ingredients, the methylepitiostanol dose included is 10 mg. The nutritional label indicates that you can take three capsules per day—equating to 30 mg.
Personally, to keep the chances of side effects to a minimum—I wouldn’t exceed this dose. That said, it’s not unusual for guys to take up to 50 mg per day—but that really is playing Russian roulette with your health.
Furthermore, due to its seriously hepatotoxic effects, this isn’t a typical 12-week cycling steroid. Ideally, only use for four weeks, six at the absolute max.
Hence, a typical sole RPN Havoc cycle would look like this:
Weeks 1-4 (max 6) RPN Havoc (methylepitiostanol) 30 mg per day
As this steroid has anti-estrogenic effects, a supplementary aromatase inhibitor isn’t required. In fact, some guys use RPN Havoc purely for this purpose.
However, a little bit of caution here bro.
Usually, I suggest how to stack steroids together—but in this case, I’m going to make an exception.
Theoretically, as RPN Havoc can be used for bulking, cutting, or an anti-estrogen drug—it should work well stacked with other ‘roids for the ultimate results.
But, because its active compound is so damn dangerous to the liver—it’s already putting this most vital organ under severe stress. Even more, if added to other synthetics.
So, avoid trying an RPN Havoc stack.
What you must ensure, however, is a course of PCT (post cycle therapy) once the use of RPN Havoc has ceased.
Even after just four weeks of cycling, your testosterone levels will be at rock bottom. It’s going to take months for them to naturally restore to their normal heights (if ever).
Hence, the use of Nolvadex or similar will be required.
RPN Havoc Before After Results
Bro, I’m not going to lie to you.
For all its over-the-counter supplement appearances—RPN Havoc is an anabolic steroid. And, as such, it’s going to yield positive results (well, mainly positive apart from obliterating your liver).
It won’t deliver the bulking powers of Dianabol or the cutting ability of Winstrol—but it will work.
Here are some genuine testimonials from users, declaring the RPN Havoc transformation results:
“On a 4-week cycle, I got away with 20/30/40/40 and of course liver supplements along with it. I just ate like hell and got ripped.”
Kilian
“Great hardness and dryness but very sore joints and serious nipple tenderness.”
Conor
“Ran a 5-week cycle of Havoc…Gained 5kgs with strength increase, however side effects…Felt really tired most days and motivation wasn’t there…Had quite bad chest pains as well, often feeling a shortness of breath.”
Sean
“All fine until about a week of use. Only 2 tablets a day. Started to feel nauseous and pee turned dark yellow-brown…despite fact using Strong Cycle Support and drinking plenty of fluids. My impression is this is quite toxic so be careful.”
Jonny
“It definitely works but it is definitely on the lighter side. Lean dry gains but not a HUGE difference in strength or size.”
Taylor
“I started this product straight off with 3 capsules a day. After 2 weeks I definitely felt an increase in strength but found myself to be very lethargic. I probably put on about 3 to 4lbs but I only did it on a four-week cycle. Think I will stick to using stronger supps.”
Ben
Guys do see RPN Havoc results—but often they aren’t blown away by the returns and they’re often accompanied by side effects.
Listen up.
The popularity of RPN Havoc isn’t down to its immense power. It’s the fact that guys were previously able to purchase an anabolic steroid easily and legally.
Now that benefit has gone—RPN Havoc, when compared to other products, is distinctly average.
Where to Buy RPN Havoc?
Back in 2014, there were a plethora of sites selling this supplement. Yet, now its sole ingredient has been declared illegal in the US—it’s damn tough to obtain.
The only site currently retailing this supplement is Predator Nutrition based in the UK (where some designer steroids, including RPN Havoc, are legal).
From time to time, RPN Havoc 2019 also appears on eBay.
RPN Havoc Review Conclusion
RPN Havoc looks like a natural supplement—it’s actually 100 percent steroid.
To give it credit, it will push the body into an anabolic state and improve your training returns.
However, it’s illegal in the USA, is a comparatively weak synthetic, and is highly toxic to the liver.
The bottom line.
As it delivers no more than “average” returns, you’d probably see greater results with a legal steroid alternative. Plus, your body will not be wrecked beyond repair.
