No one has beaten this record yet, and the following bodybuilders in line are Arnold Schwarzenegger and Phil Heath. They both won the Mr. Olympia title seven times in their competitive careers.

What’s interesting about Ronnie Coleman is that he didn’t plan to be a competitive bodybuilder; bodybuilder Brian Dobson, the owner of MetroFlex gym, saw great potential in Ronnie Coleman when Ronnie was a young man.

Brian was so impressed with Ronnie that he offered him free membership in Metroflex gym if he competed in bodybuilding.

Ronnie, who didn’t have much money at the time, competed for the first time in bodybuilding only to get a free membership.

Ronnie was already competing with some of the best bodybuilders in the world before he ever used steroids.

A few years after Ronnie started taking steroids, he became one of the biggest bodybuilders in the world and won the Mr. Olympia competition for eight consecutive years from 1998-2005.

Ronnie Coleman’s reign ended when his long-time rival Jay Cutler who had placed second behind Ronnie multiple times, was finally able to beat him in 2006.

In 2006 Ronnie got runner-up position, and at that time, he was already 43 years old; Ronnie competed in 2007 in hopes of winning the title again, but he was already past his prime and got 4th place.

After he competed in 2007, Ronnie Coleman retired from professional bodybuilding.

Ronnie Coleman is 58 years old and still involved in the bodybuilding scene; Ronnie has built up a successful supplement brand called Ronnie Coleman Signature Series.

Ronnie Coleman also has a popular youtube channel where he frequently posts videos, and that channel has over 1,5 million followers.
