Phil Heath is the most successful bodybuilder in the last decade and has proven himself to be one of the greatest bodybuilders ever.

Since 2011 Phil has won 7 Mr. Olympia trophies, just as many as the great old-school bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Phil Heath’s last competition was back in the 2020 Mr. Olympia where he got 3rd place.

At 42-years old Phil has not come out with a statement that he is retired from competitive bodybuilding, and he is still training and eating like a bodybuilder.

However, Phil hasn’t won the Olympia since 2017, with recurring stomach issues in recent shows it hasn’t looked too good for Phil recently.

Phil is still training hard and actively involved in the bodybuilding lifestyle, showing his viewers his grueling ways of working out.

Known as “The Gift” for his incredible genetics Phil still has an impressive physique that could win shows.

It will be interesting to see if Phil decides to take a shot to win his title number eight and tie Ronnie Coleman and Lee Haney who both won the Olympia eight times in their career.

Phil Heath has an incredible work ethic and was able with hard work to build one of the greatest physiques in bodybuilding.

Phil recently posted a video of his grueling chest, shoulder, and tricep workout which he uses to get bigger and stronger.

It’s interesting to see that Phil Heath uses a lot of different chest press machines that hit all angles in the chest.

To maintain that 3D look Phil does a few sets of shoulders in this workout even though this is not his dedicated shoulder day, he also decided to give the triceps a bit of action.

  • Pec deck and machine press superset : 4 sets, 8-10 reps
  • Incline chest press : 4 sets, 8-10 reps
  • Chest press : 4 sets, 8-10 reps
  • Seated cable flys: 4 sets 10-20 reps
  • Side lateral raises : 3 sets, 10 reps
  • Front later raises : 3 sets, 10 reps per arm
  • Tricep pushdown : 4 sets , 10-20 reps
