Outlift Pre-Workout Review(2019) – Are The Side effects the drawback?

Fact Checked

I think you’ll agree with me when I say hundreds of supplements claim to be clinically dosed, but most of them are clinically dud. As in, they’re just clinical if you took more than the normal scoop or if you take it together with another supplement.

However, Nutrex Research seeks to finally come up with something that is literally clinically dosed in the form of Outlift Pre Workout.

At first glance, Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout looks to be your average can of pre workout powder until you see the nutrition label and ingredients list. I don’t want to spoil it, but let’s just say this review will be super!

Is Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout a real game changer or another “player’? Check my Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout review to find out!

About Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout

Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout review
Wanna know what’s better than Outlift pre workout? Find out in our article on the best pre workout supplements in 2019.

Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout is stated to be clinically dosed, based on solid scientific findings, gives you max performance, energy, and workout intensity. It also claims to reduce fatigue and support muscle recovery. It’s also banned substance tested, meaning you can take the whole can and you won’t be disqualified in any sport or competition.

  • Transparency is a huge deal for me. It’s a display of professionalism if nothing else.
  • I’m blown away with some of the names I see on their label.
  • Flavors: Available in Apple Watermelon, Blackberry Lemonade, Blood Orange, Blue Raspberry, Fruit Punch, Miami Vice, and Wild Cherry Citrus.
  • Hefty serving. One scoop is 24.8 grams!

I also like how they made their website. Nothing too fancy, not so messy with colors, and not so salespage-y with half-naked fitness models plastered everywhere with a countdown on their “discount” sale. It shows how serious the folks are at Nutrex Research when it comes relaying information.

Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout Review: ingredients list

I’m liking what I’m seeing so far into my Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout review. Transparent labels, short formula, and just enough fillers to make the shake tasty and smooth enough for us not to choke on the powder.

OUTLIFT All In One Pre Workout Powerhouse

  • Citrulline Malate. Yo! Yo! Bro, check this out! We get 8 freaking grams of citrulline in one serving. WHAT?! That is craaaaazy! I don’t think I’ve seen a pre workout blend have this much in one dosing. Bro, if this doesn’t get you pumped, I don’t know what will.
  • Beta-alanine. We get this awesome endurance and muscle-growth booster as CarnoSyn, the brand of beta alanine that’s said to minimize the itching every time we take it. At 3.2 g, I don’t even mind if it makes me itch because I know this thing’s gonna work.
  • Creatine Monohydrate. We get another premium in the form of Creapure, a brand that’s known to maximize absorption AND reduce bloating. We all know creatine monohydrate is the form used in all those fitness studies, but to actually make use of Creapure. Wow. And hey, 3 g is pretty generous.
  • Leucine, Isoleucine, and Valine are BCAAs or Branched Chain Amino Acids. BCAAs are the amino acids every bodybuilder should put money in because their main function is to give us massive gains, bro! With a combined dosage of 6 g, it’s hard to imagine a workout that won’t feel good.
  • This ain’t just any ordinary amino acid. Just like BCAAs before it, Taurine is a bonafide and respectable fitness supplement, with benefits that range from increasing fat loss, boosting testosterone levels, to improving recovery and endurance. At 2 g, you know this shit’s out to get the job done.
  • At 350 mg, Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout wants us to literally feel the energy the moment the powder enters our bloodstream. Caffeine is known for a damn good energy spike and also some fat burning, but with that dosage I think the latter benefit is amplified. The only problems I see with this generous dosage are the side effects, but we’ve all been there, right?
  • N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine. This is the best form of tyrosine, a nootropic that improves focus and fights stress. The 150 mg is scratching the bare minimum, but I’ll let this slide simply because the rest of the blend has freaking good dosages.
  • This is the only brand of black pepper I want in my supplements. This extract boosts the bioavailability of all the ingredients I mentioned, making them more potent than what the label indicates.

Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout vs Pre Jym

One look at Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout’s formula and you begin to realize you might have seen it somewhere before. Don’t worry, it’s not just you. I actually reviewed something like this before and immediately thought “Holy shit, is this a Pre Jym pre workout clone?”

Gotta admit, there are similarities especially in the ingredients used. They both have citrulline, beta alanine, BCAAs, Taurine, and even ingredients for focus and BioPerine. Both show wisdom in choosing ingredients as well as dosing for synergistic purposes, and both definitely know their target consumer.

However, I think Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout has a slight edge.

While Pre Jym pre workout is more “complete,” Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout’s formula is much more focused. Between getting an overall boost versus the boost you need at the moment, I’ll go with the latter.

That’s not to say Pre Jym pre workout is inferior, but the need for either supplement depends on the situation. Despite that small yet significant difference, both deserve your attention. Pre Jym pre workout is when you’re just there to get your daily shit going on, but Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout is when you want to break a PR.

Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout Review: formula analysis

I am loving Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout. As far as workout performance is concerned, it’s almost flawless.

We get high quality, premium lift ingredients citrulline, beta alanine, and creatine. These three are aptly dosed according to what many studies use.

Citrulline in particular will definitely make you feel so pumped and jacked, you’ll probably challenge the guy next to you to a lifting competition. Beta alanine will make sure you outlift everyone at the gym and creatine guarantees a boost in raw lifting power as well as muscle recovery, making sure you wake up the next day feeling good and not feeling pained.

The BCAAs and Taurine added were a really thoughtful touch. Not only do these ingredients support the many benefits of Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout’s lifting ingredients, but they also do their own thing when it comes to fatigue and muscle growth.

I’ll be honest here, the dosage we get for caffeine is kinda scary. I often cap caffeine at 250 mg because that’s my limit. That’s the usually the dosage where you can workout without really suffering from the harsh side effects associated with stimulants. But at 350 mg, bro that is like more than three cups of brewed coffee in one shot.

I like the energy boost, but I kinda wish Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout dropped NALT for something like theanine, an anti-caffeine ingredient.

Speaking of NALT, this focus enhancer’s dosage is a bit too low compared to what I would’ve personally added, but maybe the BioPerine can make it seem like you’re getting a lot more than what Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout provided.

Does Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout have a lot of caffeine?

I personally think it has a wee bit too much for its own good. All would have been good if we had theanine too, but alas we can’t have everything we want in life..

So, is Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout any good or just hype?

The hype around Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout is more than justified. It gets you massive pumps, heavy lifts, lots of energy, and still have room for a bit of focus and muscle growth.

Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout Review: benefits for muscle

It’s hard to think of a way this won’t help you get massive gains, bro. Not only will it help you lift heavier and more, it also helps you get back to the gym as fast as possible with its muscle recovery perk.

Who is Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout made for?

Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout is definitely designed for smart bodybuilders as well as the usual blokes who don’t know what they had for breakfast, but know which ingredients activate the right muscle pathways. It caters to the type of crowd that hates novel herbs and silly “clinical” promises.

Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout Review: side effects

Even in their most premium forms, there’s always a chance you’ll get a side effect or two with supplements. Beta alanine is notorious for making you want to scratch everywhere and creatine can make you feel like you have a too-full belly.

I wouldn’t worry about those two, though. No, I’d rather shift my attention towards the 350 mg caffeine content we’re getting. You might experience jitters, headaches, energy crash, and maybe even a burning sensation in your stomach. I really suggest you drink water before you take this or you might just throw up.

Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout Review: summary

I’ve seen a lot of premium brands try to be the best in their category and for the most part, the best brands ten years ago are still the best brands today. With Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout, I think some of those brands might just feel threatened.

True clinical dosaging, premium forms and brands, effective synergy, and overall intelligent design makes Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout an immediate favorite. Even if the caffeine dosage is higher than I would’ve wanted, I definitely know lifters who take this much like it’s normal.

The only true reason you wouldn’t buy Nutrex Research Outlift pre-workout is because of the price tag. At $50.00 a month, it’s definitely a valid reason to not get this. However, if you think about the formula as well as the benefits it will give you, that $50.00 might not seem so bad.
