Actor, lifter and fighter Martyn Ford has been named “The World’s Scariest Man” for his incredible transformation from a skinny teenager to a huge bobybuilder.
Martyn who is good friends with Eddie Hall said before the fight that he didn’t think it would go the distance, he also said Thor was “Too soft”.
Thor proved everyone who doubted him wrong when he showed off his boxing skills he honed under coach Billy Nelson as well as his amazing cardio and stamina.
While Eddie put out a reasonable effort in the fight and managed to land a couple of big shots it seemed like Thor’s technique and stamina was superior to Eddie’s.
The end result was that Hafthor won the fight, however it didn’t look like that at all after 1st round which is the round Eddie Hall kind of dominated the fight.

In the later rounds it seemed like Thor had figurued out Eddie Hall’s game plan, which was hitting a power shot with his right hand, Eddie also used an unconventional boxing stance and always had one of his hands down rather then using both hands for defending Hafthors punches.
Eddie Hall was confident before the fight and even said it he was 100% certain of winning.
A few days before the fight Martyn Ford said he didn’t believe the fight would go the distance, because both men have such powerful punches.
However the fight went the distance with Thor winning on judges decision.
Here is what Martyn Ford had to say after the fight.

They are two guys that have a lot of heart, a lot of power, everyone loves Eddie he is a F’in fighter, he hasn’t let himself down at all. I think watching it as someone who loves boxing, I think you can see what the problem was, it was big shots he was swinging which are going to blow his energy, he wanted to hit the one shot, it’s not going to work, you are relying on a lucky shot to get your knockout, you’re not working your man, you’re not throwing your combos, you’re not moving, your head was static, the hands were low , Thor’s got a reach advantage, I said before this if he hits him in two rounds and he got two rounds to win and then it’s going to get harder and harder because Thor he has got alright movement, he’s got a very good reach on Eddie. I didn’t think he was special, I didn’t think he was great, I think he used his advantages, he was clever, he was composed, he kept his distance, he used the jab alot, he jused his jab at the end a lot to stay off his hands. It was a safe fight from Thor in the sense that, you could tell he knew what he was doing, he wasn’t naive to it, played it well, I’m just going for Eddie as a friend but I tell you what, I’d definitely F’in knock him out.
