Martyn Ford(39) nicknamed “The scariest man alive” got famous for his incredible transformation when he went from a skinny teenager to a massive bodybuilder.
Martyn has become famous and is also an actor and a fighter, currently preparing himself to fight Sajad Gharibi “The Iranian Hulk” which will take place in a few weeks.
When asked about the fight between Eddie Hall and Hafthor Björnsson, Martyn gives his insight on what he has seen so far from both men in the face-off and press conference.
I think he said something about his mother, something about being quiet more like advice, I mean probably not the best advice to someone that hates you, he knew he was going to spice it up and he knew it was probably going to cause a reaction which it did. Thor has been very edgy for the last two days, I said before this fight I was like, I think Thor is too soft man, I don’t think he has got that “ZNNG” Now it does seem like he seems to have a little bit of temper tantrum, I know there have been bits about him in the press that have come out about him having a temper. I think we have seen it, I think he has lost his rag and I think Eddie has gotten into his head and ultimately it’s part of the fight game which love it or hate it is part of the game, getting into someones head causing that anger, that frustration. Before this fight, I was concerned Eddie was too emotional, I was concerned he was going with too much hate and too much anger and that would affect his fighting.
Martyn Ford is excited to see the boxing match and doesn’t believe it will last for too long.
I don’t think it’s going the round, I don’t think it’s going the distance. They are both very new to boxing and with the emotions involved and with the size of two of them it’s going to be a slip fest I think we all know that and I think that’s what’s exciting because they are two big powerful guys and if they can swing relaxed, there are going to be some messy faces at the end of this fight and that’s what we all want.
Martyn was also asked about his fight with the Iranian Hulk in the interview and about the face-off when he shoved the Iranian Hulk to the ground.
