Kyriakos is no small man, he is one of the heaviest lifters in the world, and he can lift insane amounts of weight which has earned him over 130K subscribers on his YouTube channel.

We got the opportunity to ask Kyriakos Grizzly questions about everything from his diet to training and what he does to keep himself so strong.

What is your diet like? What foods and how much of them do you eat in one day?

All kind of foods and in big quantity

We were curious about the diet of Kyriakos Grizzly, but it seems like he doesn’t follow a plan; he eats a lot in significant quantities. Which means his diet may vary from day to day.

How old are you and how much do you weigh?

Today I am 48 years old and I weigh 185-190 kilograms.

Kyriakos Grizzly is one of the heaviest lifters globally and has recorded himself weighing over 200 kg (440 lbs); it seems like he has downsized a bit from that video but not a lot. Interestingly, even though he is close to 50-years old, he is still amazingly strong.

How often do you train per week?

I’m training three times per week so I can rest my body from all these heavyweight training that last 3-4 hours per training day.

We’ve all seen the insane workouts that Kyriakos Grizzly does, and it’s not surprising that he doesn’t train more than three times per week; however, his workouts are insanely long-lasting, from 3-4 hours.

What is your workout routine like?

I’m always training by my way that includes Zercher shrugs, barbell good morning, Zercher front raises, pulling the rope, high pull, bent over rows, front raises over head, reverse curls sled workouts squat, and plenty more exercises.

Kyriakos trains his way; he combines unconventional exercises with more conventional exercises to build upon his strength.

When did you start training?

I started to train when I was 12, weights and kickboxing and later I joined the weightlifting team for many years which I was a member of the national team as week and I had in training 180kg in snatch and 220kg to clean and jerk. Later having all those injuries I stopped weightlifting and I tried to adjust to new realities following my own way of training that I could keep lifting for many years till today after 36 years.

Many people don’t know that Kyriakos used to be a weightlifter, but multiple injuries prevented him from continuing; that’s why he had to restructure his workouts, using more unconventional ways of lifting than before.

Do you think you could beat the strict curl world record?

If i had set this goal probably i could, my personal record at biceps curls 140kg i did it with both of my biceps cut.

There have been questions around if Kyriakos Grizzly could beat the strict curl world record, which is 113 kg’s as he has posted a video of himself repping 140 kg’s even though he has torn both of his biceps.

Do you use steroids or have you used steroids in the past?

I have never use steroids, I never needed them.

Kyriakos Grizzly has built up his body and strength naturally without ever using steroids, which is impressive since he is one of the strongest men in the world.

Do you think you can compete at World strongest man?

Sure I could compete in strongman contest in younger age and without injuries.

In his younger years, Kyriakos might have been able to compete in strongman, but facing many injuries, this has not been possible for him in recent years.

What are your best lifts ? (deadlift, bicep curl, bench press and squat, etc?)

squat 370kg deadlift 330kg bench press 250kg front squat 300kg snatch 180kg clean and jerk 220kg in the age of 23.

Young Kyriakos Grizzly could lift some heavyweights when he was a weightlifter, and he still does lift heavyweight but uses different exercises.
