Kali Muscle(47) is famous in the fitness industry; he went viral for his video: “The Kali Muscle Story,” where his message was to influence the kids positively through fitness and lifting weights.
Kali now runs a popular youtube channel with 2,5 million subscribers and has a muscular and jacked physique all year round.
Kali Muscle has competed in bodybuilding 14 times but has said he didn’t want to take it to the next step as his diet coach suggested he should take way more performance-enhancing drugs than he was comfortable with.
The last year for Kali hasn’t been the greatest for him; a few months ago, Kali got a heart attack that could have killed him; fortunately, he was rushed to the hospital, where he had to have immediate surgery as one of his arteries was clogged.
We have seen many bodybuilders recently pass away and most of the time due to some heart failure.
Shawn Rhoden, Cedric McMillan, and John Meadows are just a few high-profile bodybuilders who have sadly passed away recently.
Kali Muscle, who recently admitted to using steroids, has not changed his lifestyle to keep his heart and body healthy.
Kali posted a video on his YouTube channel where he said that bodybuilding must be stopped.
It’s hard to disagree with Kali because if a sport is so unhealthy that the athletes are dying, there need to be more regulations regarding the health side of things.
Here are some of the things Kali said in his video:
The reason I say it must be stopped, firstly there is no medical, you know what I mean these guys taking all these health risks and as we see they dying in their 40’s, I almost died and I didn’t know about roids till I was 34, I was like oh I am a late bloomer so maybe it won’t happen to me because I’m not going to overdo stuff. Now you got guys 15-16 years old using steroids which is stupid to me, they wanted me to come upfront and say what I was doing and me it’s just like rappers now they promote dope, drugs in their videos and their music so that make kids want to do it right if we glorify it so I was against that.
