33-Year old powerlifter Julius Maddox from America just accomplished something very impressive.
He broke the bench press world record and lifted an astonishing 355 kg’s in the bench press were he held the previous record which was 350 kg’s.
This was done at the Hybrid Showdown Meet in Florida.
Maddox weighed in at 447 lbs / 203 kg’s.
Maddox also holds a record for bench pressing 700 lbs or more 10 times in powerlifting competitions.

He is a bench press specialist and his goal is to be able to bench press 800 lbs one day.
For now he is not that far off from that, only missing around 18 lbs to achieve his goal.
This guy is progressing fast and beating record after record, it will be really interesting to see how he progresses in the next few years.
