Formulating a testosterone booster today might as well be rehashing what’s been done in the past. There are just so many formulas, combinations, and blends that creating a testosterone booster with a unique touch is like finding diamonds in the rough.

That doesn’t appear to be the case for the Genius brand of supplements. Over the years, their take on typical supplement formulas has always piqued our interest. Not only do they provide high-quality formulas, but they also make sure to fine-tune them to greatly benefit the brain.

And because of that one central theme, Genius created Genius Test, a testosterone booster that can also enhance brain power. Yeah, because smart is the new sexy.

Is Genius Test the smartest testosterone booster or did it focus too much on trying something new instead of just prioritizing its testosterone benefits? Read our Genius Test review to find out.

About Genius Test

The Genius brand has always marketed the idea of promoting mental prowess together with physical performance in all their products. What we like about this company is how they’re consistent when it comes to the branding they do, which means they actually know the people who buy their product unlike other companies who try to cast as wide a net as possible.

The manufacturers describe Genius Test as capable of boosting libido, reduces stress, improves energy and focus, and supports estrogen control. They’re also recommending users to stack Genius Test with their other Genius products and actually have instructions for them.

  • Seven ingredients: We like our formulas simple and focused, and seven is just about right for the category.
  • Transparent formula. We like seeing everything in the label, especially dosages for each ingredient.
  • Premium feel: The bottle definitely looks like what a high-quality supplement should look like. Then the ingredients further makes Genius Test feel like you actually invested in something worthy of its really steep price tag.
  • Male Optimization: The people behind Genius Test want you to know that they’re more than just some run of the mill testosterone product. They see themselves as more of a male optimization supplement, a formula meant to make an average man feel and think like an alpha.

Other Ingredients: Vegetable Capsule, Vegetable Stearate.

Directions: Take two capsules with a meal twice a day. On days that you are not training, take two capsules in the morning and two capsules at night. On days that you train, take two capsules about an hour before workouts and take two capsules in the morning or at night depending on when you train.

Genius Test: ingredients list

  • KSM-66 Ashwagandha® (Withania somnifera [root] extract) (Standardized to minimum 5% total withanolides): This is a premium brand of ashwagandha, an herb known to help reduce stress and promote a good mood. There are also some studies that suggest Ashwagandha can have fertility and sperm quality benefits.

In the present study, treatment with the Ashwagandha root extract resulted in a higher level of testosterone and a concomitant increase in serum levels of luteinizing hormone among infertile men having suboptimal testosterone levels before therapy.

It’s actually a bit weird that a testosterone booster starts with an adaptogen, but in the context of what Genius Test wants to be, we think this is a good move.

  • PrimaVie® (Shilajit-Fulvic Acid Complex): This isn’t an ingredient you see every day. Shilajit-Fulvic acid complex is a combination known to help men retain ideal testosterone levels.

Treatment with Shilajit for consecutive 90 days revealed that it has significantly increased total testosterone, free testosterone and dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEAS) compared with placebo.

  • Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum) [Seed] (standardized to 50% saponins): Fenugreek is a really popular man herb and found in just about every male supplement. What it does is it boosts libido while also improving overall male sexual health.
  • Quercetin (as quercetin dihydrate): This is a potent bioflavonoid and is a really strong antioxidant for overall health. In the context of a testosterone booster, there have been studies that say it can boost testosterone levels and sperm quality.

Overall results indicate that quercetin might indirectly affect sperm quality through the stimulation of the sex organs, both at the cellular and organ levels, depending on the dose and the duration of treatment. Therefore, the use of quercetin as an alternative drug for treatment of male infertility should be considered.

  • 3,3′-Diindolylmethane (DIM): This is mainly an anti-aromatase compound. Aromatase is an enzyme that converts testosterone to things that aren’t testosterone, and DIM helps prevent that from happening.
  • LJ-100™ (Eurycoma longifolia) Extract (Std. 22% Bioactive Eurypeptides 40% Glyco Saponins): Some call this tongkat ali, an herb purported to be a safer alternative to actual testosterone replacement therapy. The researchers who claimed that could be exaggerating, but it’s really that good.
  • Boron Citrate: Boron is considered an essential mineral as it is involved in a lot of biochemical processes in the body. As a testosterone ingredient, boron helps block compounds that lower testosterone as well as boost testosterone levels.

Increased levels of sex steroids have been demonstrated in both men and women after boron supplementation…researchers reported that dietary boron repletion in postmenopausal women, who were previously on a low-boron diet, significantly increased their serum estradiol and testosterone levels.”

Genius Test: formula analysis

For our Genius Test review to be really high quality, we will have to view the product as is and not in the context of Genius being a premium company. Because if we looked at Genius Test with a premium or “established brand” context, we’ll end up having a bias and would prevent our Genius Test review from being honest and objective.

Genius Test relies on only seven ingredients, but each of these seven ingredients are actually highly potent and dosed adequately, meaning they are designed to work together. Whenever you talk about supplements, you want a formula that is as short as possible and as potent as possible. Basically, you want a high density formula, because the serving size of the product becomes more impactful if there are fewer ingredients sharing it.

Not to mention that Genius Test relies on capsules to get their formula into your system, and capsules aren’t that big to begin with.

Another thing we liked about Genius Test is the premium feel. The formula is peppered with branded and standardized ingredients, making it a premium  ingredient combination.

There’s a lot to like about this supplement, but what we didn’t like is just how expensive Genius Test is. One month is almost $60, and you can buy like a bottle and a half or another high quality testosterone boosters with that price.

We understand that they used premium ingredients, but we feel as if they could have “cheapened” this formula a little bit by opting for the non-brand versions of non-testosterone boosters. After all, you are buying it for the testosterone benefits and not really the nootropics.

So, does Genius Test work?

It definitely works for testosterone and also gives you benefits for stress and mental clarity. The Ashwagandha is definitely the highlight of the formula for us, as it can act on stress and testosterone at the same time.

Does Genius Test have a lot of caffeine?

Genius Test is already good enough without caffeine. Not to mention it’s not exactly advertised as an energy booster. It could help stimulate your brain, but it ain’t something you would take before gym time.

So, is Genius Test any good or just hype?

Based on our Genius Test review, this product is definitely worthy of being called a premium. The quality of the ingredients, the brands they used, the dosages for each, and the overall synergy make Genius Test one of the industry’s best and also one of its most unique.

Genius Test Review: benefits for muscle

It can definitely benefit your testosterone which could, in effect, help you grow better muscle especially if you take this alongside your typical pre workouts or energy boosters. More importantly, the biggest benefit goes to our brain which controls everything our body does, including muscle growth.

Who is Genius Test made for?

Genius Test is designed for men who actually know what they want in a testosterone supplement, but also want a good brain boost. Their market is also people who have a surplus of cash and want something potent and premium, and not just your typical testosterone supplement.

Genius Test Review: side effects

Based on what we’ve seen on our Genius Test review, we don’t really think it will give you any bad side effects if you follow the serving instructions carefully. For one, the ingredients used are premium, and premium ingredients are not just known for potency, but also for safety. Then there’s also the nature of the formula itself: It doesn’t have any real pure stimulant or any extracts that science has yet to fully wrap its head around.

Genius Test Review: pros and cons

Pros

  • High quality: If you’re looking for a display of branded ingredients, look no further.
  • Unique take on testosterone: Making sure the brain is not left out of the testosterone boosting game is actually genius.
  • Transparent label: Definitely a sign of quality and honesty.
  • Synergizes with other Genius products: They actually have an entire stack guide if you want to do this.

Cons

  • Pricey: We definitely see customers willing to pay for it, but we think their market is a bit too high class and could end up being niche.
  • No discounts for bulk: At least, we didn’t see anything on the website.
  • Formula lacks some proven ingredients such as ZMA, ginseng and D-Aspartic acid.

Pricing info

  • 1 bottles (30 servings): $57.99
  • Available online and in retail stores

Genius Test Review: summary

Based on our Genius Test review, this testosterone booster is definitely one of the best in the industry. It covers testosterone, mood, stress, mental clarity, and even libido without sacrificing dosage, formula synergy, and ingredient quality.

Functioning as both nootropic and testosterone booster is a unique take on a supplement that’s usually aimed for benefits that have little to do  with brain matter. We like this idea because the brain does control everything, so it makes sense to make sure it’s given the right nutrients for optimal testosterone levels.

The one thing that we think spoils Genius Test’s high rating is the price. At almost $60.00, it’s definitely one of the most expensive out there, especially considering some of its competitors are priced lower and appear to have more bang for their buck.

Regardless of the price, we think Genius Test is worth it. After all, if you can spend a bit of money on health, then maybe you’re the market Genius Test was made for.
