In bodybuilding, there is always one thing that people shy away from talking about on camera.
This subject is especially true for elite competitors; many don’t like discussing steroid use in bodybuilding.
We’ve seen some bodybuilders step up to the plate and discuss this controversial subject throughout the years.
This post will go over the biggest bodybuilders who have admitted to using steroids in their bodybuilding careers.

He retired from bodybuilding several years ago and now has his supplement line called Ronnie Coleman Signature Series.
In an interview with Valutainment, Ronnie Coleman explains that everything he was using as far as steroids were prescribed by a doctor because you could get into a problem with the law without a prescription.
Everything I did was prescribed, and I had doctors and stuff making sure everything was ok, doesn’t matter what it was because the DEA came in questioning everybody so you had to be up front.
Ronnie was a police officer, so he pretty much couldn’t do anything illegal.

Jay has admitted in interviews that he wasn’t a natural bodybuilder.

No, I mean everyone is looking for that edge; there are steroids involved in the sport in bodybuilding obviously, that is the problem with our sport, and that’s why a lot of society hasn’t accepted it because they look at the bodybuilders and say: oh steroids, but they don’t actually understand what goes into the sport. You do what you do to be the best at what you do; you do what you do to win; if you want to call that cheating, fine, but I have the edge, and that’s why I am the best.

Are you serious about FINALLY losing that stubborn belly fat? Then this is for you. Powerful fat burner that helps you supercharge your metabolism for fast results.
Steroids are taken 8-9 weeks before a bodybuilding competition; it’s not a healthy thing to do; it was something everyone had to do to get an equal chance in a competition. So I took them 8-9 weeks before bodybuilding competitions.
Dorian Yates

People look at bodybuilders and say these guys just take steroids because we look so different. Huge muscle mass veins, and nobody fat for competitions, we don’t look like that all the time, because we look so different people can point the finger it’s obvious that we use steroids.
In that interview, Dorian Yates also says that in any competitive sport or most sports, someone is likely using steroids; it’s not just bodybuilding.
